With Anthropic Claude modules in , you can create a message in your Anthropic Claude account.

To get started with Anthropic Claude, request access to their API at [anthropic.com/earlyaccess](https://www.anthropic.com/earlyaccess). For more information, see the [Anthropic Claude Getting started guide](https://docs.anthropic.com/claude/reference/getting-started-with-the-api).

## Connect Anthropic Claude to

To establish the connection, you must:

### Obtain your API key in Anthropic Claude

To obtain your API key from your Anthropic Claude account:

1. Log in to your [Anthropic Claude console](https://console.anthropic.com/login).
2. In the top-right corner, click on your **profile icon** > **API Keys**.
3. Click the **Create Key** button.
4. Enter a **Key Name** and click **Create Key**.
5. Copy your key and store it in a safe place as you will not be able to view it again.

You will use this value in the **API key** field in .

### Establish the connection with Anthropic Claude in

To establish the connection in :

1. Log in to your  account, add an Anthropic Claude module to your , and click **Create a connection**.
2. Optional: In the **Connection name** field, enter a name for the connection.
3. In the **API Key** field, enter the API key copied in Step 5.
4. Click **Save**.

You have successfully established the connection. You can now edit your and add more Anthropic Claude modules. If your connection requires reauthorization at any point, follow the connection renewal steps [here](../connections/connecting-to-services.html).
